garden of the spheres
As part of our series of reclaimed art for the garden check out Ray Hammer's majestic four foot Sphere. Inspired by re-purposed materials, Hammer's piece has an architectural, planetary presence - imagine its gravitational pull in a garden or floating almost weightless in a field with just grass and poppies...
extravagant zinnias
Zinnias are one of Sylvia's favorites, especially these three unique varieties. The extravagant 'Persian Carpet' Zinnia is beautiful in containers & window boxes as its jewel-like rich colors tumble effusively throughout the summer. In contrast, the 'Red Spider' is delecate, modern and minimal, while 'Blue Point' are the tallest and most perfectly shaped.
restrained gardenias
A relative of the coffee plant, the petite hardy evergreen, 'Kleims Hardy Gardenia', embodies tasteful, understated elegance. With a limited pallet of white, cream, and glossy dark green they work beautifully in containers, are great for hedging and can take light shade and minimal H20. They flower from about mid-spring to mid-summer and add an evocative floral fragrance to your outdoor spaces.
