In search of the perfect plant? There is so much advice on how to choose a plant - just what should you believe? After many years of having brought home many "rejects", a hazard in my chosen occupation, I have found delight in observing the growth of crooked trees and imperfect plants. For me a certain magic happens when you watch over time your own whispered idiocryricies of choice meld into a delightful dialogue. Truly, most of the "ugly ducklings" I have planted have turned into swans.
My advice? Go with the plant that speaks to you. Some of you will want the perfectly proportioned tree and others will look for one that reflects absurdity of who we are, or even the poem in their minds. And, like the New Year, some will want to start afresh - to plant a seed full of endless possibility.
Lucky for everyone, DIG has it all..
