Moss, Lillies & Bulbs
Spring is in the mix! Just go outside, walk about and look down to see the bulbs poking their joyful little heads out of the earth. Then look up at the branches with their fat buds ready to burst and the Forsythia starting to bloom.
Bulbs of all varieties are feeling the inevitable pull of the change in season - so if you haven't already, get some planted as fast as you can - so you can enjoy them for longer.
Also, check out our moss album on DIG's FaceBook page. We have a special promotion to win a prize each month through June. All you need to do is to "like" the DIG page andyou'll be automatically entered into the draw. Winners will be announced in our newsletter and on FaceBook.
Double your fun and pleasure with our new selection of double lilies that are all the rage. Beautiful and elegant, these varietals fit into almost any area of the garden. Look at Lilium 'Flore Pleno', the elegant L. Martagons perfect for part shade spots in the garden, Lilium 'Serene Angel' a white double that looks and smells like a 'L.'Casablanca'. And my personal favorite, the dark asiatic lily 'Landini'.
Related to the lily family, it's also time to plant trilliums. Very fragrant in a quiet woodland setting or even in containers for your prized cultivars.
And remember the Three Gardens and a Nursery Tour on Vashon on the 11 June. Tickets are on sale now. Follow DIG on FaceBook, as we give you sneak peeks of the tour gardens.
