May is all about tomatoes! Kind of ironic since these can be the hardest to grow and ripen without a greenhouse. Hope is eternal and truly there is nothing more rewarding then a lush abundant tomato bush to pick , fondle and nurture along.

Some rather cool tomatoes available are the 'Black Pineapple' very fruity and purpled in appearance; an heirloom from Belgium. 'Egg yolk' a favorite of seed collectors, delicious little yellow tomatoes. Come by and pick out our heirloom and Island grown tomatoes this month - they go fast.
